Who we are
Denton Coin Buyers is based in Denton, TX and buys coins and precious metals from private sellers throughout Denton County: people clearing out a drawer, heirs sorting a relative's things, and executors settling an estate.
- We buy coins, gold and silver coins, bullion, gold jewelry, scrap gold and whole collections.
- Every meeting is set up in advance. We see sellers by appointment only, on weekdays.
- We can meet at our private Denton office, your home or a secure location such as your bank.
- Booking an appointment does not commit you to anything. We make an offer, and the decision is yours.
- Our contact page has the phone number, the email address and the request form.
Why we work by appointment
Selling gold or a family collection is a private matter, and it deserves unhurried attention. Booking ahead means we set time aside for you alone, with no line and no one looking over your shoulder.
It also keeps things discreet. We do not publish our office address. Once your appointment is set, we give you the address by phone, for your privacy and ours.
Where we meet
Most sellers come to our private Denton office. If moving a heavy or valuable collection is a worry, we can meet at your home or at a secure location such as your bank instead.
Towns we serve, from Sanger to Lewisville, are listed on our service area page.

A note on Texas rules
Texas requires dealers who buy crafted precious metal, such as gold jewelry, to register with the state and keep a record of each seller, which is one reason we ask for a photo ID.
If you want a sense of what your metal is worth before we meet, try the gold melt value calculator.
